“I won’t let anyone bully you,” Kendrick suddenly promised Niamh.
Niamh smiled. “I know. You won’t let anyone bully me, and you’re doing just that. It’s very late now, just go to sleep if you’re tired.”
“I want to sleep with Nia.” Kendrick lifted his head. At this moment, for some reason, he sounded as if he was simpering.
Niamh had never seen Kendrick acting so childishly before. When she was wondering how she would sleep with him, the man tightened his grip on her waist.
Niamh was caught off guard and fell into Kendrick’s arms. They were looking into each other’s eyes in such close proximity. Kendrick’s eyes still looked deep and dazed.
However, Niamh was at a loss. She wanted to stand up, but not only was Kendrick trapping her limbs, he even ripped off her mask suddenly.

Niamh slowly opened her eyes from sleep and realized she was lying on the bed in the bedroom.
She sat up abruptly, and the blanket fell from her shoulder. Her naked shoulder reminded her of the confusion that happened in the middle of the night.
Niamh’s face started to heat up and become red.
‘What happened last night was not a dream, right?
‘However, how did I end up in my bed in the bedroom?
‘Did Kendrick carry me back here?
‘He carried me?
‘Who does he see me as?’
Immediately, Niamh had a lot of questions in her head. However, she did not have answers to any of them.
After sitting on the bed silently for some time, she finally went to change and wash up.
When she was washing up, she saw her true face in the mirror. The light in her eyes became slightly duller.
She put back her mask and left her room to look for Eloise.
Coincidentally when she walked past the corridor, she saw Kendrick walking out of the study.
The man’s tall and slender figure was walking over elegantly. His extraordinary aura and temperament went straight to Niamh’s heart.

“Daddy.” She heard Jackson’s bright voice soon after, and his tiny figure appeared while holding Lillian’s hand. When he saw Niamh, he greeted politely, “Hello, miss.”
Lillian furrowed her adorable brows when she heard that and shook her head. “Mommy.”
The little princess looked at Niamh seriously. It was as if she was correcting Jackson for calling Niamh ‘miss’.
Niamh was trying to ease the strange atmosphere between her and Kendrick. When she saw that, she walked over to say hello to the two children.
“Good morning, Jack and Lily. Go have breakfast now. Your daddy will take you to school later.”
Jackson and Lillian nodded obediently. Then, the siblings walked to the stairs hand in hand.
Niamh let out a sigh of relief in secret. From the corner of her eyes, she saw Kendrick still looking at her, so she lowered her head.
“Mr. Waldburg, you should bring Jack and Lily downstairs. I still need to take care of Mrs. Montgomery, so I’ll see you later.”
“Okay,” Kendrick replied softly. His lazy voice fell into Niamh’s ears, and it became a rhythm that played with her heartstrings.
She hurried over and did not notice a small smile blossoming on Kendrick’s lips.
Niamh brought Eloise to the park for some fresh air as usual. In the afternoon, she watched as Eloise finished her lunch before chatting with her. After that, they went to the courtyard for some sun.
The way Eloise looked at Niamh was benevolent and gentle. Sometimes, Niamh would wonder if Eloise knew she was her precious daughter. However, Eloise still looked a little dumb at times.
When it was almost dusk, Niamh went to Adam’s place for half an hour to do the gel treatment.

After Niamh heard this, she replied naturally, “I’ll tell Mr. Waldburg about this. Please hold on.”
The person on the other end of the phone was taken aback when he heard the hoarse sound of a woman. After a few seconds, he replied, “Thanks.”
“You’re welcome.” After Niamh said that, she hung up the phone.
She wanted to call Kendrick, but she noticed he had left his phone in the office.
Niamh walked to the front of the computer and turned it on after she entered the password while it was in sleeping mode.
She remembered that Kendrick’s password was her birthday. He had not changed it this entire time.

After she read through the email, she sent the email back to the man on Kendrick’s behalf.
When she was done with this, the door of the office was opened.
