Chapter 47 – His Betrayal Novel Free Online by Natalia Jeseye

Karen glared at me as I was saying all of this to her, then when I mentioned us celebrating with friends her eyes widened. “What are you celebrating?” I looked at Jessie with a questioning look and she nodded the go ahead. I turned my eyes back to Karen and with pride I said, “We are celebrating Jessie’s pregnancy, we are expecting a child and we couldn’t be happier. Now if you will leave we have people we actually want to be around waiting on us.” She didn’t need to know we had not made plans yet, I just wanted her gone. She glared at both of us and huffed away. I shut the door, “Good riddance.” I looked at Jessie, why don’t you text Dean and Amy to see if they are up for anything today and I am going to go get in the shower and get cleaned up.

Karen

How could he talk to me that way, and just forget about me that easily. The kicker to all his betrayal is now he is having a baby with that woman. Mark better get our plans moving along because I want that b***h out of the way. I know Mark didn’t want me calling him again with the way he overreacted last time but I am sure he will want to know this information. I will send him a text this time because I know he will just ignore my calls. He might be a good lay but he has a sh***y attitude that I don’t want to deal with. I pulled out my phone and texted him what I just found out from my visit. No sooner did I set my phone down it started ringing and of course it was Mark. “What the f**k, that better be a sick joke you are trying to play on me. How did you find this out?” I hear stuff being slammed and I could hear things crashing in the background. “It’s exactly what my text was saying, I stopped at the apartment to try to talk to Morgan and he had the nerve to throw that information in my face. We need to get this plan going soon Mark, and what are we going to do about her being pregnant?”

“You don’t worry about any of that, I will take care of Jessie and that baby. Your only job is to keep Morgan busy while I grab her. That baby won’t be a problem, I will be damned if she gives birth to any kid but mine!” He disconnected the call immediately after that and I threw the phone on the passenger seat and took off and headed towards home. I was so frustrated with all of this news and all I wanted to do was just run that b***h over. Mark and I were supposed to get together in a few days to go over the plan. I hope he has a good plan because this has to go off without any problems.

I walked into my parents place and my mother was hounding me as soon as I walked in the door. “Karen how did it go? Did you get a chance to talk to Morgan? Did you convince him to give your relationship another chance?” I rolled my eyes because she has been nagging me since I came back from California to get back with Morgan. My parents I think loved him more than they loved me. “No mom, he wouldn’t talk to me and that psycho he is with was practically attached to his hip the entire time I was there. I told you she is a problem, I bet she was the one putting all those ideas about me cheating and terminating the pregnancy in his head the entire time. I don’t know where she gets off interfering in our relationship. Morgan will eventually get it together and come back to me. I think he was just as crushed about my miscarriage as I was when it had just happened.” It took me forever to get my mom to believe everything Jessie said at the restaurant was a lie. If my mother found out that I had an abortion back then she would never forgive me. I was too young to be a mother and I refuse to give up my life that young to have a baby.

“I told you honey I will be more than happy to go and talk to Morgan for you. He was alway so nice to us when we would bump into him after you left. I am sure I can persuade him to come over and have a talk with you alone.” I know that can’t happen because he will also go into the truth with my mother and then add on to that he heard that from me and it was not some lie Jessie came up with. “No mom but thank you anyway. I just need to give him time to calm down and I am sure I can convince him to give me a chance if I just give him that time.” She nods at me then goes back to the living room to watch her shows and I went to my room to change and get ready to head out for a day of shopping and a night of drinking and finding someone to hook up with for the night. I needed some fun and I will go out and find it.

Jessie

Morgan has been dropping me off and picking me up from work the rest of the week. His boss was amazing and understood the concerns once Morgan told him everything, he told Morgan to keep him posted if anything needed to change or he needed to leave for any reason for me. With everything going on we decided to take the weekend and go away about an hour and a half to a beach in Florida. We booked a hotel for the weekend that was walking distance to the ocean. Morgan wanted me to be able to relax and not stress and he knows this would be a nice relaxing weekend for us both. Before we went to work Friday we had our bags packed so we could leave directly from work and not return until Sunday night.

I was clearing up my stuff in my office from my day when Morgan had walked up to my office door. The students were already gone for the day and I was just finishing a few more notes before we took off. Morgan was smiling at me when he walked up, “So how was your day today? Were the students pretty easy to handle today?” I laughed, “Today was a lot of fun, the things these kids can come up with makes me laugh sometimes.” I shut down my computer, grabbed my folders and laptop and placed them in my bag and we walked out together. “I have been looking forward to this all day, we will still have plenty of daylight when we get there to sit on the beach and maybe watch the sunset.” I was ecstatic for this weekend away, Morgan helped me into his truck and then walked around to his side and hopped in.
