Chapter 27 – The Vampire Prince’s Blindfolded Bride (Alora & Magnus) Novel Free Online

“I will go by myself,” Lillian said. “Can I not even get close to my sister-in-law?” She complained.

“Lily, you should leave. Alora will be here soon without the blindfold. You don’t wish to die by burning, do you?” Magnus arched a brow at her amusement.

Lillian twitched her lips and quickly left the hall. Tobias told the prince he would escort the princess to the carriage and walked away.

“Fill it more,” Magnus instructed the servant, who stepped up. She lifted the jar containing the fresh human blood and poured it into the glass for Magnus.

“Greetings to Your Highness!” Gabriel pronounced as he specially came from Elmswood to report Magnus about the incident related to the werewolf attack.

“I should have waited for His Highness in the living room, but I thought I should urgently report it to you,” Gabriel said.

“I thought you would come here with the pack leader,” Magnus chuckled and brought the silver glass to his mouth.

“A werewolf was present in the caravan that night because none of the werewolves are absent from the Dark Moon Pack,” Gabriel responded and took out something from his pocket, “and these were found at the spot, where the caravan was attacked.”

Magnus put the glass on the table and took the wooden token from him along with a replica of moon stone, which was used by some specific werewolves only. “Isn’t it used by werewolves to transform? But only alphas and betas can do that,” he asserted, examining the moon stone.

“Yes. Someone wanted to kill Her Highness that night,” Gabriel said.

Magnus furrowed his brows together. He felt the werewolf might not be there to kill Alora, but something else. “It’s foolish to think that anyone can kill Alora. There’s more to this story,” he asserted.

Gabriel wondered what more could be there. “Your Highness, I have also shifted here,” he informed him.

“What? Why?” Magnus asked. “What about your position?”

“His Highness forgot that I was in Elmswood because of him,” Gabriel said.

“Princess Alora is near and she is without the blindfold,” Tobias suddenly announced, causing Gabriel and everyone to close their eyes, except Magnus, who enjoyed the scene.

Alora looked at everyone with a worried glance and then stopped next to Magnus. She extended her hand out, “Please return my blindfold.”

Magnus took out the maroon blindfold with a pattern on it from inside his pocket and showed it to her. “You mean this?” He inquired.

“Yes,” Alora almost grabbed it but Magnus pulled his hand back.

“You’ve to give me something to take the blindfold from me,” Magnus said.

“What does His Highness want?” Alora questioned.

“A kiss,” Magnus replied.

“Wh-what?” Alora was embarrassed by his demand.

“Let’s leave everyone,” Tobias said. Gabriel was the first one to leave followed by the others.

“You don’t need a blindfold anymore,” Magnus remarked as the doors closed with a thud.

“No, I want it.” Alora ran to his left side to take the blindfold. However, Magnus quickly took it in his right hand and smirked at her.

Alora placed her hand on his shoulder and leaned toward him, reaching her hand to his. He stared at her face, which was only an inch away from his.

“You look alluring,” Magnus suddenly pronounced, bringing her attention to him. His gaze lingered on her lips, and he licked his own in anticipation. Closing the distance, he initiated a kiss.

In the next moment, Alora discovered herself seated on his lap, yet the kiss persisted. The blindfold became an afterthought as her hands found a place on his arms, the world outside the kiss fading away for her.

Magnus angled her face to deepen the kiss, but he still refrained from savoring her mouth. A few seconds later, he nipped her bottom lip, yearning for a sweet cry and blood too. The scent of her blood fell to his nostrils and the color of his pupils changed instantly.

He withdrew from the kiss, his canines grew, and…

The moment Alora’s blood reached Magnus’s mouth, he knew all the control he had on him for not tasting her blood was lost completely. The color of his pupils changed into red ones, his canines grew bigger as he was ready to drink from her.

Usually, it would not happen with him once he would drink the fresh blood. However, Alora’s blood scent was strange. It was as sweet as honey. He brushed away her hair from one side of her neck, exposing it to his fangs. Everything happened so quickly that Alora didn’t even get the time to stop him.

“Ahhh!” Alora whimpered in pain the moment his sharp canines entered her skin. Her eyes widened and her pupils grew larger. Her hands were tightly pressed against his chest, but she didn’t protest.

It appeared that Alora desired him to partake of her blood, not solely because she was now his wife, but because he had bestowed a renewed purpose to her existence. Suppressing her cries, she wished for him not to cease, unlike the last encounter.

Magnus’s mind erupted with the taste of this celestial blood. His eyes deepened to a crimson hue, and an overwhelming pleasure engulfed him, a joy he hadn’t experienced in a long while.

“Your Highness!” Tobias pronounced as he saw Magnus feeding on Alora. He was totally shocked to witness this since Magnus did not look in his right state. Tobias lowered his eyes, thinking Alora might look at him accidentally.

Magnus finally realized what he had done and stopped. He pulled out his fangs and licked that spot to soothe her pain. He met her gaze and saw she had no complaints about it; she didn’t look terrified either.

“You were supposed to call my name,” Magnus told Alora.

“I couldn’t,” she lowered her eyes for a second. Her eyes lingered on his lips, covered in her blood. Alora lifted her hand and almost touched one of the fangs, but Magnus caught her hand.

“You should have stopped me.” The look in his eyes was of complaining. He didn’t like the fact that he drank from Alora. If this would continue, she would be his blood slave rather than a wife. “You should leave Tobias. I’ll see you later,” he asserted.

Tobias bowed and left once again, closing the large doors behind him.

Magnus traced her fingers on her neck, where two spots appeared. “Forgive me,” he apologized. He never was sorry toward anyone. But for her, he was.

“Why is His Highness upset? Shouldn’t he be happy?” Alora nervously asked. The pain had subsided. She waited for his response patiently.
