Chapter 35 – The Heiresss’ Revenge: Abandoned No More (Sandra Hill)

Her sudden shift in attitude left Eleanor perplexed.

But Eleanor wasn’t easily swayed. Even though she didn’t fully understand, she suppressed her curiosity.

Sandra continued,

“It’s just a box of fake items. Whether real or fake, it’s from Madam Cooper, and I should wear it proudly.”

Eleanor’s mouth twitched.

Sandra wanted to wear it out?

It would be a slap in Hailey’s face!

But Sandra stood firm.

“Even if others make fun of me, they’ll definitely envy me for being cherished by Madam Cooper.”

Eleanor was left speechless.

She didn’t even know how to respond.

Sandra continued,

“Eleanor, go back and tell Madam Cooper that I still want those gifts.”

Eleanor was stunned.

Had her task been completed?

She had indeed come to persuade Sandra not to go too far,

but she hadn’t expected it to be this easy.

Sandra smiled “innocently” again.

“By the way, I saw a jade pendant in the box, and I really liked it. When the gifts arrive, I’ll give this pendant to my husband.”

As she spoke, she smiled at Wesley.

Wesley blinked in confusion.

Joey was left speechless, shocked beyond words.

When Sandra had bought the pendant at the auction, he’d sensed something was off,

but he hadn’t thought much of it.

Now, he finally understood Sandra’s intentions.

He silently gave Sandra a thumbs-up in his mind.

Incredible!

This was truly brilliant!

Eleanor had no idea what Sandra was plotting.

She grinned.

“You can rest assured that I’ll have someone deliver the items tonight.”

Sandra asked, as if on purpose,

“Would that be any trouble?”

Eleanor waved her hand dismissively.

She was eager to complete the task and leave.

Sandra was strange, and Eleanor didn’t want to deal with her any longer.

With that thought, she quickly found an excuse and left.

Sandra even mentioned how beautiful the pattern on her pendant was and expressed her desire to meet the skilled carver.

Eleanor agreed and left happily.

As the car pulled away, the smile faded from Sandra’s face.

She turned to Wesley beside her.

“Why did you report Mr. Baxter Cooper?”

Wesley raised an eyebrow.

“Uncle Baxter’s embezzlement was Debra’s doing. What does it have to do with me?”

Sandra wondered if she was being self-righteous.

At the Cooper Mansion.

After Eleanor returned and relayed Sandra’s request,

Hailey was quite satisfied.

“Humph, that’s better.”

Eleanor smiled, “Madam Cooper, you’ve been so good to her. She couldn’t be happier.”

Hailey waved her hand dismissively.

“Zachary is devoted to the Cooper family. His granddaughter made a mistake, and I can’t just ignore it.”

Eleanor nodded.

Zachary had witnessed many positive things within the Cooper family, but his grandchildren were still young.

Those things may not have meant much to the Cooper family, but to ordinary families, they were a huge fortune. It was understandable that Zachary’s granddaughter, Camilla Baker, had been tempted by the money.

“Madam Cooper, you’ve sent his granddaughter abroad.

He’ll be grateful.”

Eleanor’s expression darkened as she recalled that Camilla had been sent abroad.

Alas.

Hailey would have been seen as kind-hearted if Camilla had been sent to a developed country.

But it was rumored that Camilla had been sent to Snorrek, a very poor country.

Who knew if she would come back alive?

Hailey came from the Scott family,

a prestigious family in its own right.

She had survived in the Scott family and managed the Cooper family quite well. How could she truly be considered kind-hearted?

Of course, there was another reason for sending Camilla away.

Zachary was always careful and cautious, but this time, Camilla had seen the gifts. That was indeed suspicious.

Hailey had been cautious throughout the decades in the family.

The Cooper family.

So, she investigated.

And she discovered that before Camilla stole the gifts, she had met Angela.

Hailey could guess what had happened.

She sent Camilla away to protect Angela’s reputation.

Eleanor understood this.

After all, Angela was Hailey’s granddaughter.

Thanks to Sandra’s compromise, the situation had become simpler, and naturally, Hailey was pleased.

Eleanor cautiously advised,

“Madam Cooper, it’s better to resolve this matter sooner to prevent any further issues with Mr. Cooper.”

Hailey rubbed her temples, looking exhausted.

“Baxter was too careless this time.”

Eleanor reassured her with a smile,

“Mr. Baxter Cooper will be back soon.”

“Alright, you go and handle the gifts. Don’t be like Zachary.”

There was a note of menace in her voice.

Eleanor trembled and quickly regained her cautious demeanor.

“Yes, I’ll go now.”

In the evening,

Victor was supposed to rest.

But he was suddenly called to Hailey’s room.

Upon seeing him, Hailey immediately smashed a teacup.

She pointed at Victor, who was sitting in a wheelchair.

“Do you know what your son did?”

Victor had previously been declared brain dead, and he was still alive thanks to Wesley.

So, no matter what Wesley did, Victor would protect him.

He sneered.

“Wesley is definitely doing a great job. Mom, you don’t need to remind me.”

Hailey clenched her teeth in anger.
