“Niamh, why are you asking that?” Ava was so nervous that she even stuttered a little when she spoke. As she asked, she took out her phone. “I talked with Danny last night. Niamh, look.”
She handed the phone to Niamh nervously.
“He was fine when he was talking to me last night. How could something have happened today?”

This message was sent in Daniel’s name but clearly, this was not Daniel’s reply.
“Ava, just reply and say okay,” Niamh asked Ava to reply.
Ava was in a mess at the moment. She texted back according to Niamh’s order, and the other party did not reply anymore.
