“After you shower..you stink.” I teased while scrunching up my nose.
Caspian threw his head back in laughter, his mouth widening into a big smile as he quickly gripped my face with his large palms.
“Good..we can do both at the same time.” He declared before kissing me once again.
“I thought you were going to celebrate with the guys?” I asked with a raised eyebrow..he has been promising them for the past three games.
“I would rather celebrate with my wife.” He stated and swiftly lifted me up before chucking me over his damn shoulder.
“Caspian!” I shrieked while gripping onto his jersey, trying not to topple over.
“Let’s go before I grow impatient and take you right here and now.” Caspian declared with a slap to my ass as everyone around us watched.
I could hear laughter and a few whispers as my eyes met Anna who just gave me a freaking thumbs up..seriously?
She is no help..if anything she is encouraging this caveman behavior.
“Caspian, you’re causing a scene!!” I hissed into his ear as I tried to lift myself up.
“They haven’t seen anything yet.” He said smugly, his head turning to meet my gaze as he winked.
Oh god..what does that even mean?!
“Move out of the way!! Trying to get my wife home so she can give me a..”
“Caspian!” I yelled, interrupting him as he burst into laughter. I can’t believe him!
I clung to my husband as he carried me out of the stadium and straight to my car.. not even bothering to get his stuff and I couldn’t help but feel my chest fill with emotion.
How did we get to this point? How did my life become so full and filled with love that it actually blindsided me?
I had my dad back..my brother was going to be a dad and I had the love of my life by my side through it all.
Caspian risked everything for me..he put it all on the line just to be with me and I will never forget that..I will never forget how he chose me over everything and even though we started this summer off as enemies..my plans to deceive him went straight out the window as I realized I was only deceiving myself.
I was never capable of making him fall for me and hurting him..because let’s be real..Capsian king has had my heart since the moment it started beating.
I was his and he was mine..and there will be absolutely nothing that gets between us..because we have been through it all.
“Let’s go home baby..” He whispered against my lips as I nodded my head in agreement.
“Let’s go..it’s time for you to get your reward.”

***Three Years Later***
(Caspian)
“Excuse me..pardon me..” I whispered while squeezing through the packed theater..tonight was one of the most important nights of our life..well, besides our wedding night..and the night we found out Johnnie was pregnant.
Okay, that was my favorite night..and now Everett is almost one and I honestly feel like I’m ready to have another.
They said being a parent would be hard..but surprisingly with Johnnie it was so fucking easy. Don’t get me wrong..we both had sleepless nights and cried more than I would like to admit..but we did it together.
Every step of the way.
So in reality, it was the easiest thing I had ever done because I have the most incredible wife to go through it with.
We were a little nervous considering Johnnie just changed majors and I was being scouted for the NHL..but it couldn’t have been more perfect. Plus my mom and Neal really stepped up and helped us out a lot. They love being grandparents.
But tonight..tonight is my wife’s first piano recital since realizing this is what she wanted to do with her life.
It took a while for her to open up again..the fact that her dad was still alive didn’t stop the stage fright and anxiety about playing in front of others..but for her twentieth birthday, I bought her a keyboard…and then she finally played my song for me.
It was the most beautiful thing I had ever heard in my life..and it’s what got her accepted into the musical school of arts. She didn’t quite know about me sending it in..and was just a tiny bit mad..okay, she was pissed. But now look at her..she is one of the top students in the class and is already being scouted by different agencies.
I glanced down the row as I saw Neal waving me down before moving the jacket out of the seat next to him.
“Was everything okay?” He asked, making me nod as I let out a nervous breath. Why was I so nervous? Johnnie was the one performing.
“Yeah, I wanted to check with the sitter. Everett just fell asleep.” I explained.
That’s when my mom leaned over and slapped me on the leg.
“You got the flowers and everything right?” She asked, making me nod yes.
My mom and those fucking flowers..so we did end up having a wedding that everyone could attend..and my mom planned the whole thing pretty much..let’s just say she was a fucking monster the whole time and even had a situation with the flowers.
No wonder her side of the family is feared..when mom wants something..she knows how to get it.
Sadly my brother couldn’t make it tonight but he more than made up for it by sending a living room full of flowers and chocolates..a little too much if you ask me..freaking prick always has to one-up me.
“Did they say how the twins were doing?” Ben asked next, he and Robin were sitting behind us.
“Yeah, they all just went down with no issues.”
Yes..Ben and Robin did have twins..girls to be exact, Lainey and Lottie. They are absolute princesses..I swear they really do think they are royalty.
They obviously get that from their mother.
Luckily my wife isn’t like that..no offense..but sometimes I have fucking nightmares about before and what it would’ve been like if I had to marry Heaven..I get chills just thinking about it.
