Chapter 117 – Taming My Bullies (Emma & Rowan) Novel Free Online

SEBASTIAN

For fuck’s sake! What was that? How did we- why did we? I can’t even formulate the words for what I saw. She’s breathtaking. The way her body looked as August and Karl worshiped her. I had to bite the inside of my cheek until it drew blood to keep myself from groaning. Shit, my dick is still hard in my pants.

“Was that?” Rowan stutters, pacing the hallway upstairs.

“That was art. Living, breathing, art.”

I look at Liam, his focus still focused on the door we just came through as he speaks.

“Why would August tell us to meet here if he knew- if he was going to-?” Rowan still can’t seem to formulate a cohesive thought.

Not that I blame him. I’d like to say I feel guilty for seeing Emma like that, but I don’t- conflicted, absolutely. I’m not supposed to want her. Yet every time I see her I feel myself being drawn closer and deeper, under some invisible spell. So, no I feel no guilt for seeing her sexy ass body being pleasured. I fucking wish it was me pleasuring her until her claw marks branded my back. But I’m not supposed to feel this way. I can’t afford to.

“Because August is a schemer and in his mind, she’s our end game,” I state.

Stepping into my field of vision, Liam finally moves his attention from the basement. “Are you saying she isn’t?” he queries, and there’s a challenge in his tone.

Liam is now firmly in Team Emma’s camp. I’m not in or out of it. It’s just great to see him fight his demons- I wish I could fight my own, but Liam deserves it. They all do. I would love to be a fly on the wall in the room when he gets her alone. Liam doesn’t like being touched and to say his tastes are far from vanilla would be putting it lightly.

It’s not like the knives or blood that Karl likes to play with or the way Rowan thrives off degrading his bed buddies- it’s psychological. Liam likes to play with his food before he eats it.

My dick hardens at the thought of Emma wrapped in ropes and blindfolded after she was hunted down. It’s not my usual taste, but I can understand the appeal.

I raise my hand to rub at my nose, trying to clear my mind of my lustful thoughts and answer Liam’s question.

“I’m not saying that Liam. Shit if it would make this sham of a Selection end, I’d put the ring on her myself,” I utter. My words are truthful, but whether it’s because I want this to be over or because I genuinely love the idea of our little spitfire wearing our ring is still up for debate.

“You fucks are lucky you got to experience any of her while you’re not in her good graces,” August states.

We turn to see he and Karl have finally graced us with their presence.

“Why did you let us?” Rowan mutters, his body rigid.

August shakes his head like Rowan’s question is idiotic. “It was our girl’s first time, and I didn’t want you assholes to miss the moment. You fucks were late though.”

Liam chimes in, “How do you know she wanted us there? She loathes Rowan and me.”

This time it’s Karl who responds, his derisive snort affirming he also thinks we’re dumb. “Our girl is a bit of an exhibitionist. One that likes to be watched and gets extremely wet at the prospect of us filling all of her holes.”

I was not expecting that.

“But she loathes Rowan and me,” Liam states, emphatically. His dark brows pinched tight in confusion. Wonderment at the idea that she could want us and equally despise us.

He should know confliction- it runs rampant in all of us. Especially Rowan, Liam, and me as it pertains to a certain midnight-blue-haired siren.

“Well, she’d loathe you both less if you’d get your acts together,” August grumbles. “Now, what’s the news so we can get back downstairs?”

“We need a place to talk,” Liam starts. “My house would’ve been preferred for this, but you assholes wouldn’t answer.”

Karl claps Liam’s shoulder, “As you saw, we were busy with someone important.”

“We have something, and we can’t discuss it all here.”

Karl nods, “Okay, let me bring Emma upstairs to my room, and let Thomas know we’re leaving.”

“So much for movie night,” August mutters, walking past us back toward the movie room.

* * *

“Do you think they did it on purpose?” Rowan asks. His head is bent as he rubs his face with his hands.

Sighing, Liam shakes his head, “It looks that way. At least for the last two years.”

“Did they know about the Lydia and Madeline switch?” August asks.

“No. From everything I’ve been able to find, the Filiae Bellonae snuck in Madeline right under our noses, with Lydia being adopted.”

My mind is reeling from the information we’ve gathered. We’ve all known that the Fraternitas has a long history, and as we recently discovered, there’s been a counter organization in existence working to take over for just as long.

The Council, however, has known longer than they let on and based on what we’ve discovered, they’ve known Aaron Bishop was married to a usurper for at least the last two years. The question here is, did they know before Aaron married her and pawned him, or did they discover it after and decide it was worth risking the last known Bradfords?

“We need to know more. I can’t imagine they’d go through all of the trouble of hiding Aaron, only to sacrifice him and then his heirs,” I state.

Rowan stands, vacating his spot around the table to grab a bottle of water. He turns, holding it out in question to see if anyone wants one.

“Just bring over a few,” August suggests.

My focus returns to the screen. Liam has more archived files up, and the number of people he’s been able to link to the Filiae Bellonae is mind-blowing. We knew about Pamela and Madeline, but the police chief’s wife and at least three members of our security teams were discovered.

“Does Thomas know his ranks have been compromised?” I ask.

I know he’ll be pissed if he doesn’t know already.

Liam brings up another image before he begins, “Considering the three were on Summer’s detail, my guess is he has some idea, but he’ll be updated.”

Well, at least now we know it wasn’t a coincidence that Summer was able to convince her detail to let her go in for a wax without them.
