“I love you too baby.”
I watched as my mom and Robin encouraged Johnnie as well..their hands swiping away the sweat that left her as they watched with anticipation as she began pushing again.
“Good..there we go..you got this..okay! Here comes the head!!” The doctor exclaimed, making curiosity get the best of me as I glanced down between Johnnie’s legs and sure enough..there he was..our sons curly dark brown hair as his head came out, making me gasp.
Then..the next thing I knew..the room started to spin, and the last thing I saw was the ceiling just before I hit the damn floor.

The sound of chaos erupted in the room..my husband disappearing from my side as I pushed with every last ounce of strength I had.
“Someone check him out please!” The doctor yelled and I couldn’t even comprehend what was happening as I needed to get this baby out of me.
I screamed, all the air rushing from my lungs as I felt the pressure finally release out of me as I knew our son had just been born.
“You did it..good job sweetie..oh god..I am so proud of you..he is gorgeous..” Viva sobbed as I couldn’t help but cry with her as I glanced down and saw the baby being placed on top of me immediately.
His dark brown hair was thick, just like his father’s as his chubby cheeks were pink and adorable.
“Baby..do you see him?” I asked, looking for Caspian as I realized he was now being looked at over on the couch.
“W-What happened?” I asked, trying to catch my breath as I looked at Robin.
“He fainted when he saw the baby coming out.” She informed me.
Of course he fainted..my husband can handle seeing some dude lose a tooth during a hockey match..but this..yeah, that would throw him over the edge.
“J-Johnnie..I’m..I’m fine..” He finally spoke as the nurses worked around us, trying to clean me up and make sure our son was okay.
But the moment Caspian heard him cry..I saw him bolt over here as he stared at me and the baby in shock.
“He’s here baby..our little Everett Anthony King is here.” I whispered, making Capsian stumble forward before bending down and placing his head on my chest. Tears streamed down his face, his eyes locked onto our son as I kissed Caspian’s head tenderly before gazing down at Everett with him.
“We did it.” I whispered, causing Caspian to shake his head no as he turned and looked into my eyes deeply..the emotion he held in them took my breath away as I tried so hard to keep it together.
“You did this..my incredibly strong and beautiful wife..this was all you.” He stated firmly, making me nod as I couldn’t hold it in any longer.
I did do this..I created this small precious boy inside of me..and now he is here..but I couldn’t have done any of it without Caspian and now we are a family..our own little family.
I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us..but for now, I am going to cherish this moment for as long as I can.
“I love you Johnnie..I love you and our precious boy so damn much..”
(Johnnie)
I grabbed the piece of toast Caspian had sitting on a plate for me before shoving it into my mouth. My feet almost tripping over the stuffed bear lying on the kitchen floor as I quickly spun and landed straight into my husband’s arms.
“Babe, slow down..you’re not going to be late..just take easy..” My husband stated calmly, his strong tattooed arms wrapping around my waist before bending down and kissing me deeply.
“It’s my first day Cas..I don’t want to make a bad impression.” I grumbled, trying not to get sucked into this trap again.
“It’s a fifteen minute drive..you have more than enough time.”
Caspian slipped his tongue out before swiping my bottom lip sensually as I tried not to moan.
I am already twenty minutes behind because this big ape..of course he had to join me in the shower.
“Ma ma ma!” Everett squealed before waddling into the room and latching onto my leg, making me smile softly.
“Damn..and I was so close..” Caspian mumbled, making me roll my eyes before patting his chest playfully.
“Yeah..sure you were babe..” I teased, making my husband narrow his eyes before bending down and biting my lip playfully.
I burst into laughter, prompting our son to do the same as I quickly pried Caspian off of me and lifted our little boy into my arms.
I couldn’t help but beam as my cutie smiled up at me happily.
God he looked just like Caspian..the curly dark hair and gorgeous blue eyes..he was his little mini-me.
“Mommy’s going to miss you sooo much, baby boy.” I pouted, smothering my son with kisses as Caspian watched me lovingly.
“Don’t even start Johnnie..” He scolded..knowing I was close to bursting into tears.
It’s been about a month since my recital happened..and life has been a complete whirlwind since. Apparently a lot of people saw my performance..like a lot..and even though the school year is over, I was actually offered a summer internship at one of the biggest record labels in the state.
River Records..they don’t just produce and manage music, they also have a charity program where they help provide schools and youth programs with musical instruments and equipment..that’s the program that I will be working in. At least for the summer.
I was a little hesitant at first because the summer is when Caspian and I get to spend the most time together..no hockey practice or evening classes..so when I was offered the chance..I was initially going to turn it down.
But of course Caspian wasn’t going to let me.
So now he is staying home with Everett while I go to the studio five times a week and today is my first day.
So you can see why this is so hard for me..I don’t want to leave my baby..well, both my babies if you count my husband.
Speaking of babies..that’s a whole other thing that has been going on.
Caspian is ready to try for another..which of course I want more..but I’m not sure if right now is the best time.
But I know why Caspian wants more, we make some damn cute kids.
Everett had to be the perfect first child to have. I swear he is just so calm and happy all the time. He loves to cuddle and laugh at everything.
