Chapter 13 – The Real Heiress Reclaims Her Place (Elena & Sarach) Novel

The two girls exchanged excited looks.

“Elena, we knew you didn’t have a meal, so we brought one for you. Aren’t you going to say thanks?”

“Right? You were part of Class One too. Even though you’ve given up on yourself, we still treat you like a classmate. Just say ‘thank you,’ and it’s yours.”

Elena smiled.

She had thought that being reborn once gave her perspective-that childish bullying like this didn’t deserve her energy.

But apparently, they saw her as the perfect victim.

She took the boxed meal from the girl’s hand and flipped the lid.

Inside was a pile of trash-cockroaches, and even a dead rat.

The girls in the corridor shrieked at the sight.

Henry and the rest of Class Six rushed out of the room.

But Elena?

She didn’t even blink.

“That’s it?”

The two girls’ smug smiles froze.

Elena casually grabbed the rat by the tail and flung it squarely onto one girl’s head.

“Ah!”

The girl’s face turned sheet white.

Before the other could even scream, Elena upturned the entire box over her, garbage raining down from her hair to her shoes.

The move was so swift and smooth it left everyone stunned.

“Elena! Are you insane?! How dare you?!”

“I’m telling the teacher! You psycho! You’re getting expelled for this!”

Elena smiled faintly. “Go ahead. There are cameras everywhere in school. You handed me that box. What was inside? Clearly planted by you. The school has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying. I’d love to see who gets expelled first.”

“You-!”

They hadn’t expected her to fight back so fiercely.

The Elena they remembered was quiet, withdrawn, never said a word even when bullied.

But now?

She had teeth.

“If you don’t report this, I will. I’ll go straight to the principal.”

Elena took a step closer.

Her presence alone made their hearts lurch.

“One more thing,” she added. “Next month, I’ll be competing in the city-wide math competition. You know how seriously the school takes that.”

She smiled coldly. “Remind me, where do you two rank in Class One? Bottom five, wasn’t it? You really think the school or the teachers would throw away their precious contestant just to defend two deadweights like you?”

Their faces turned pale.

At Westbrook High, grades were everything. Students with top scores practically ruled the place.

As long as they didn’t go too far, even troublemakers from Class One got protected.

But a city-level competition? That was on another level.

No teacher would risk losing a medal for two low-performers.

“Fine! Elena, just wait! Let’s see how smug you are when you bomb the competition!”

“Let’s go!”

The two girls turned to leave.

“Stop.”

They froze.

“We were going to let it go. What else do you want?”

“You don’t seem to get it.”

Elena bent down and picked up the remaining half of the trashed lunch.

“It’s not you letting me off the hook.”

She straightened up, eyes sharp.

“It’s me who’s not done with you.”

Elena calmly raised the half-eaten boxed lunch in her hand and held it out to the two girls. “Every grain comes with sweat. If you eat this in front of me, I’ll consider not telling the teacher.”

“You-what are you saying?! No way!”

The lunchbox didn’t just have cockroaches and a dead rat. They had spit in it too.

There was no way they could stomach something so disgusting.

“Then take it to the teacher,” Elena said coolly. “There’s plenty of evidence right here. If you won’t eat it, we can go to the principal’s office. Or… call the police.”

“C-call the police?!”

The girls’ faces went ghost-white.

Elena nodded seriously. “Campus bullying is against the law. You two bullied me-naturally, I should report it. The police will contact your parents. You’ll be lectured right in front of them at the station. The school will issue a public criticism, give you both disciplinary records, and transfer you to Class Six so we can see each other every day.”

Their expressions twisted with fear.

Calling the police. Bringing their parents. Public shaming. A permanent black mark. Being reassigned to Class Six.

That was every student’s nightmare-especially Class One kids who thought they were better than everyone.

“So,” Elena raised the lunchbox a little higher, “what’s your choice? Eat, or not?”

The two girls exchanged terrified looks, then squeezed their eyes shut and forced the trash into their mouths.

But as soon as it touched their tongues, they gagged and vomited it right back out.

Elena sneered. “That’s all the guts you’ve got? Next time, don’t pull such pathetic, idiotic stunts.”

“You…”

They glared at her, looking like they wanted to rip her apart.

“Pamela! Irene!”

Sarah came running over, clearly having caught wind of the commotion.

When she saw the girls doubled over and retching, she looked furious. “Elena! What are you doing?! Pamela and Irene brought you lunch-how could you bully them like this?!”

More students began to gather.

Henry frowned. “Sarah, get the facts straight. Your Class One girls bullied Elena first. She was kind enough not to break their teeth.”

“Yeah! I thought you two were sisters. Why do you treat everyone else better than your own sister?”

That comment from a Class Six student hit Sarah hard.

She’d always worked to maintain her sweet, gentle image. But being called out for ignoring her own sister in public? That stung.

Sarah tried to stay composed. “I-I didn’t know what happened…”

Henry laughed coldly. “Didn’t know what happened, but came running over to scold your own sister? Nice.”

He grabbed Elena’s arm. “Let’s go. No need to waste time with these morons.”

Henry’s foul mouth made Sarah’s expression shift again.

She bit her lip. “Elena! I’m your sister! You’re really going to let outsiders talk to me like that?”

“You didn’t seem to think I was your sister just now,” Elena said sadly. “Those girls put a dead rat in my lunch. But the first thing you did was scold me. Sarah, I’m so disappointed in you.”

Elena’s tone was soft, but it hit like a whip.

Sarah had always been the kind, fair, gentle queen bee of the school.

But when you thought about it-her so-called fairness always came at Elena’s expense.

Her sister had just been horribly bullied, and her first instinct was to defend the bullies?

The pretentious scum didn’t even begin to cover it.

Sarah’s smile faltered as she felt the weight of the stares around her.

Finally, in a panic, she turned and shoved Pamela and Irene. “How could you two go this far?! Elena may be in Class Six now, but she’s still my sister! How could you?!”
