Chapter 33 – The Vampire Prince’s Blindfolded Bride (Alora & Magnus) Novel Free Online

“You should also apologize for raising your hand on your brother,” Alora suggested to Magnus.

“I don’t do apology,” Magnus muttered. When Alora turned her face to him, he felt lost. “Alright, I will do. Forgive me for my action, Brother Izaak,” he apologized just for the sake of Alora.

Izaak was astonished to see that. He felt that Alora had a strange effect on Magnus. It wasn’t what Lillian had claimed, but there was something deeper existed between those two.

“I wish I had a wife like you,” Izaak remarked.

“Keep your eyes off Alora,” Magnus warned sternly, rising from his seat. With lightning speed, he stood before Izaak. “Allow me to escort you out,” he declared firmly.

“Goodbye, Sister-in-law,” Izaak bid farewell before vanishing with Magnus in a blur of speed.

“Did they leave?” Alora did feel a gust of wind as she inquired from Tobias.

“Yes, Your Highness. They aren’t here,” Tobias replied.

Alora bit her lower lip, thinking if Magnus would fight with his elder brother.

“Calm down, Little one,” Izaak retorted as he was pushed by Magnus against the carriage, causing it to shake.

“I am calm, Brother Izaak. But tell Lillian not to jump to conclusions about my relationship with Alora. It’s not based on blood, but something deeper that neither of you will ever understand,” Magnus explained earnestly.

“You should not love a human. The consequences are dangerous, my Brother,” Izaak said as he pushed away Magnus, and took a step forward. “I thought Alora was a toy for you, but you ended up giving her your heart.”

Magnus wasn’t interested in explaining a man like Izaak, who would throw away women from his life like clothes. “Get in and leave, Brother Izaak,” he said, gesturing him to enter the carriage.

“Don’t be angry. I’m leaving,” Izaak said and turned around. The coachman was quick to open the door for the prince.

“I can see the future for a person. Strangely, I saw nothing when I grabbed Alora’s hand. I hope it’s not the indication of something bad,” he pronounced and then entered the carriage.

Magnus furrowed his brows together, but he didn’t pay heed to it. Izaak loved to play with him and because he fell in love, so for Izaak it was more fun.

Once the carriage drove away, Magnus went inside. He noticed Alora patiently waited for him and he again took a seat beside her.

“Why did His Highness ask in such an impolite manner for Prince Izaak to leave?”

“Am I being scolded by my wife?” Magnus complained.

“I didn’t scold His Highness,” Alora answered.

“It was crucial for him to leave,” Magnus said.

“Is it true that Prince Izaak married four women? Were they all vampires?” She was curious to know.

“Yes, they were vampires. Izaak is cunning, that’s why his wives died. The fourth one died because he asked her,” Magnus stated.

Alora gulped to hear that. She didn’t know such vampires also existed. “He could have killed me today, then,” she murmured.

“Izaak will never dare to do that. He knows his limits. But you need to stay away from him,” Magnus advised her.

Alora nodded at him. “I’ll keep in mind,” she said.

Tobias had left to arrange gifts from their side for Alora’s sister’s marriage and now only Magnus and Alora were present in the living room. He pulled down her blindfold and peered closely into her eyes.

“Your eyes are so beautiful that I want to look at them,” Magnus said and he swiftly turned his back to her before lowering down. His hand rested on Alora’s lap. She was flustered at first. She brought her hand to his face and her fingers traced his lips.

“Your Highness, because of you I find my eyes beautiful now,” she whispered, her fingers resting on his cold cheek.

In the late evening, Magnus felt a surge of irritation upon discovering that Izaak was being relocated to the same residence as him. How dare he intrude on what was supposed to be a private space for Magnus and Alora?

Fueled by frustration, Magnus lashed out, kicking at a nearby trunk that had been brought to the top of the stairs. His anger sent the trunk tumbling down the stairs in a chaotic, uncontrolled manner.

The servants stopped carrying the luggage as they quickly got out of the way of the trunk. Alora stood beside Magnus, wondering why he was furious. She remained careful to look downstairs and took a glimpse of Izaak.

“Leave, Izaak. I have no desire to play with you,” Magnus stated firmly.

As the trunk spilled its contents at Izaak’s feet, he looked up at Magnus. “Mother insists that I stay close to my younger brother. After all,” he continued, like a sudden flash of light he appeared in front of Magnus, startling Alora, “you’ve married a woman who poses a threat to us vampires, except for you.”

“I don’t wish to live under the same roof as you,” Magnus said. “Don’t make me angry, Izaak. Let’s stay miles away from each other,” he suggested to his elder brother.

“Sister-in-law, tell your dear husband that his elder brother will share the same roof as him,” Izaak said, peering into Magnus’s eyes with a challenging gaze.

Magnus clenched his fists when Alora got in between them. “Your Highness, we cannot refute the Queen’s order. If Mother-in-law wants Prince Izaak to live here, then he shall. Please don’t be angry at your brother,” she requested in her soft tone.

Izaak couldn’t help but chuckle at the sight of Magnus’s softened demeanor around Alora. “Human, you truly are fascinating. You’ve managed to turn my younger brother into quite the obedient child,” he remarked with a smirk.

Magnus’s expression hardened at Izaak’s words. “We won’t stay here if you do,” he declared firmly, his tone leaving no room for negotiation. “Go against my wish, and you’ll see exactly what I’m capable of,” he warned Izaak, refusing to entertain Alora’s request to allow Izaak to stay.
