I glanced up at Robin as she applied some type of lip gloss on my lips while her brow furrowed and she began grumbling to herself.
“So when did they meet again?” She asked, making me sigh as I swear we had been through this twenty times.
After leaving the beach and coming back home, both Robin and I made a beeline for my room.
We heard our name being called but no way in hell would we stop.
Ben had been acting strange since seeing Farah..and I didn’t like it..I have seen this look before.
Like he was deep in thought and contemplating life.
I know before I wasn’t exactly Robin’s biggest fan..but now that I have spent time with her and actually gotten to know her..I feel different about this..plus they are freaking engaged!
Yeah if they were casually dating I could understand why Ben could be stuck in his feelings..but Farah broke his heart twice…TWICE!
I know he was a little confused about wanting to be with Robin before we got here..but he better not do anything stupid or he is going to piss me off too…and don’t even get me started on Caspian.
The texts I was still getting right this second were being unread and ignored.
He tried coming to the room twice but luckily Robin shooed him away each time.
Like..how stupid can I be? I already let him kiss me whenever he feels like it..but of course, I will just be another secret in Caspian’s life.
Who knows if he even meant that stuff he said to me.
“Umm, they dated right out of Highschool when Ben was eighteen.” I informed Robin as a frown set on her lips.
“Wait..was this his first serious girlfriend?” She asked while pulling back and looking at me.
“Yeah pretty much..but I’m telling you..he is over it..she cheated on him and really screwed him over.”
“Oh god..this is bad..I didn’t realize it was the freaking ex he lost his virginity to!” She yelled, making me close my eyes and groan.
“Eww..I don’t want to know that!” I rushed out as a shudder ran through me.
“This is horrible Johnnie! If there were any exes I was worried about..this was the freaking one..shit..shit..shit..” She began to panic before pacing the room as I stood up and placed my hands on her shoulders, stopping her mid-step.
“Robin..it was a long time ago..Ben obviously loves you and hey..it turns out he did tell you about her after all..so that’s good right?..” I tried to keep it positive as Robin’s lip began to quiver before she dropped her head forward, letting her dark hair fall in front of her face.
“Johnnie..I saw how he looked at her..and he has been distant since the beach..he hasn’t even come to check on me once..even Caspian came to see you.” She whispered sadly, making my heart ache as I searched her eyes sympathetically.
“You know what..you are right..fuck them..we can have fun without them. They want to ignore us in front of other people? Well, guess what..so can we!” I said my little speech before panting as Robin blinked down at me in awe.
“Your right..let’s get sexy as hell and show them what they have to lose.” Robin agreed and ran to my closet before tearing through it.
I looked in the mirror one more, seeing the sexy black lace swim cover I wore that doubled as a dress.
It reached to the top of my thighs and had a V-neckline and flowing sheer sleeves. Robin kept my hair down and curled it for me, giving me a sexy beachy look.
Now Robin..oh man..she was going all out..She had on her fire-red bikini with a sheer skin-tight dress that ties on the side and it didn’t hide a thing..she looked incredible and I couldn’t help but admire her gorgeous body every time she walked by me.
Ben was going to be drooling like a dog.
“Okay, remember..we have to stick together and ignore them..that doesn’t mean we have to be rude, but no hugs or kisses.” She reminded me as I nodded and looked away with embarrassment.
I might’ve opened up and told Robin about kissing Caspian and what he said..that made her even more fired up because of how he let Heaven hang all over him.
Grabbing my phone, I glanced down before realizing I had twenty missed texts from Caspian..freaking twenty!
I was about to open them when Robin yanked the phone from my hand.
“Nope..he has to dwell in this for a while..plus I don’t want you backing out on me now.” She grumbled as I nodded and let out a sigh, watching her slip the phone into her purse before straightening her back and smiling.
“Let’s do this.” She declared, sliding her sunglasses over her eyes as I did the same.
Robin took my arm and opened the door and that’s when stopped abruptly..oh god..Caspian was waiting across the hall..he looked like a freaking God standing there leaning against the wall as it took everything in me not to let my mouth drop open.
He was wearing a black button-up shirt with the top buttons undone, revealing his smooth tattooed chest. My eyes drifted up and down his tall broad body and settled on his blue eyes..his gaze alone almost making me stumble back from the intensity of it.
He was pissed..no..beyond pissed..he was fuming mad as his face hardened before looking me up and down.
Oh god..why was he so sexy?! His wavy hair was pushed back and he smelled so good..so freaking good.
“Is the car ready?” Robin asked while pulling my arm and dragging me past the angry hockey player that towered above us.
She was a braver woman than me..I was ready to throw the towel in and crawl back to the hole I came from.
“Johnnie Rae Turner.” Capsian said my full name in a threatening tone, causing a shiver to tremble through me as Robin tightened her grip.
“Should we run?” She whispered hastily as I nodded my head upnand down hastily..and I kid you not…we began running down the hall as the floor shook with Caspian’s thundering steps following behind us.
“Fucking seriously?!” Caspian yelled as we zoomed down the stairs, almost falling to our death before sliding into the foyer.
Thankfully Alder was there as I rushed to his side, trying to act cool as he looked Robin and me up and down curiously.
“Well..you two look ready to cause trouble.” Alder stated flatly as Caspian came running around the corner before freezing in his tracks.
His chest rose and fell heavily as his eyes looked at me with murderous intent.
