“Thank you for asking, and yes I will be fine. I was just remembering her comments after all of that. She had the audacity to say that she realizes now her mistakes and she should never have ended things with me. After all this time she told me all of this, and then expected me to just say it was okay and to give her another chance. I don’t know what she is thinking and I told her I didn’t want to see her and to stay away from me, and then she has the nerve to show up here. I am sorry about all of this Jessie, the last thing I wanted was this drama to show up at our door.” He looked at me and all I could see was sorrow in his eyes, I pulled him into a hug and just embraced him. This was a lot of information for him to have to take in and even though he has moved on, that is a lot of emotional information to take in. “Morgan you have nothing to apologize for, you have just been given a lot of information to process. What do you need from me right now?”
“I just need you Jessie. Having you here is keeping me calm.” So I just stayed there and processed everything he told me. I can understand him being upset, even if there was a chance that the baby was not his, he had no idea that the possibility was there. I know he wants children so this was like a punch to the gut for him, I can understand why all of this is upsetting for him. All I can do is be there for him while he comes to terms with everything he has been told today.
Karen
I drove back to my parents house fuming, Morgan could have let me come in so we could talk. I didn’t come back home to fail now, this was supposed to be easy. The guy I was seeing towards the end in California was not as thrilling as I thought he would be. I even think he was seeing someone on the side but I could never get him to admit that. I packed up my stuff and came home and I just wanted things to go back to the way they were. That b***h he is living with had no right to talk to me that way, my discussion had nothing to do with her. I could use another night out to release this frustration, the other night I had hooked up with a guy for some fun. The night was fun, but as soon as we were done I headed home.
I walked into the bar and sat down and asked for a beer. I sat there stewing when I heard someone behind me. “Well hello again, I didn’t catch your name the last time we met.” I turned around and saw the guy from the other night standing there with a beer in his hand. “My name is Tina, we didn’t exactly get into deep conversation the last time I saw you. What’s your name?” He smirked at me, “Mark, I am only in town temporarily until I get my wife to come back home. Right now she is hooking up with some as***le.” He sat down next to me as he took a drink. “I know what you mean, I moved back here to get back together with my old boyfriend and he has moved on and is now living with his new girlfriend.” We sat complaining back and forth for a while until we realized we were talking about the same two people. What were the chances, we went back to his motel again and talked about possibly teaming up. After another round of fun I headed home after giving him my number to get in touch with me.
I am going out for a much needed girls day with Amy, we decided to go shopping and leave the guys to hang out while we are gone. Amy and I walked into the mall and walked around with no plans of where we planned to go. The main reason being we wanted to catch-up with each other. I filled Amy in on the Karen drama and how she had the nerve to show up on our doorstep even though Morgan had made it clear for her to stay away. “Sounds like she’s not too stable like Mark, I would be careful with her.” I nodded my head in agreement, I was thankful for the cameras they all got for me after Mark had snuck in and kidnapped me. We walked around and shopped at a couple of our favorite clothing stores such as Marshalls and Maurices, then had fun shopping at Victoria Secret for lingerie. We decided to take a break and get something to eat at the Cheesecake Factory.
We sat enjoying the food and browsed the menu for our choice of cheesecake for dessert. We talked about where we would go after we were done eating. I was stuffed by the end so much that I felt a bit sick. Walking around more will definitely be helpful after all this food. We paid the bill and were grabbing our bags to start walking around more when I saw Karen walk towards me. “Karen, I have nothing to say to you, Morgan made it clear he does not want to see you, respect that.” I turned to walk away when she grabbed my arm and spun me around, “This message is for you, you b***h! You need to back away, Morgan and I will end up back together and you need to just accept that. We have all the history behind our relationship and you can’t compare to that.”
I started laughing and then a woman walked up to Karen, “Karen hunny, who is this.” “Mom, this is the woman that Morgan is seeing. I was just telling her that Morgan and I have history and will end up back together.” The woman looked at me with sympathy, and I could not believe her next words. “Morgan and Karen were wonderful together and he will come to realize that Karen is who he should be with dear, I hope you understand this. They almost had a child together, now that he knows they should be there to support each other.”
I just stood there shocked at those words, “There is no telling if that was Morgan’s child or whoever the person she was fooling around with. Either way she terminated that pregnancy so Morgan is not looking to comfort her anytime soon.” I walked away from them to join Amy outside the restaurant, not missing the look of confusion on that other woman’s face.” Amy and I were not going to let this ruin our fun, we walked off to continue shopping. We came up to a baby store and I pulled Amy in. I wanted to buy some stuff for my new little niece or nephew, so we started browsing the store and I found some cute little onesies and blankets that I ended up purchasing. I told Amy she needed to start a registry for her baby shower. I know they don’t plan on moving until after the baby is born but there are still plenty of things she will need. We had so much fun holding up different boy and girl outfits and loving how adorable they are. Once we were done and made our purchases I was exhausted and so was she.
