“Can I..touch you?” I breathed in a raspy tone, seeing Caspian’s head nod up and down as I lifted my trembling hand.
I slid my fingertips across his chest, hearing him let out a hiss as I slowly traced the tattoo above his heart. My favorite tattoo.
Before I could drag my hand away, Caspian reached up and firmly gripped my wrist before pressing my palm flat over his heart.
“This has always belonged to you Johnnie.”
I felt my stomach flip as his words made my whole body tingle.
I slowly lifted my hand before taking a tentative step forward and reached up on my tiptoes, placing a gentle kiss on his chest, right over the butterfly tattoo…and that’s when I noticed the small J hidden within the wing, making my eyes widen. Was that..for me?
I couldn’t help but feel my heart race as the realization that his words really were true finally sunk in.
After showering together Caspian carried me to bed and we just cuddled up and stared at one another until we finally fell asleep.
“Good morning my future wife.” Caspian’s deep voice rumbled next to me as I let out a gasp..I didn’t even notice he had woken up.
“Morning..” I squeaked, making Caspian give me the laziest grin, his shaggy brown hair falling into his blue eyes as his big muscular body moved on top of me quickly, pinning me down onto the mattress.
“Good morning what?” He asked, his hands circling around my wrists before pinning them at my side.
I swallowed hard, my eyes growing wide as he inched closer to me.
“G..good morning my future husband.” I whispered, and that’s when Caspian’s eyes suddenly widened as his cheeks turned a shade of pink I had never seen before..wait..did that make him shy?!
Suddenly Caspian let go of my wrists before turning his head and going to push off of me.
“We should get ready.” He cleared his throat as I couldn’t let this go.
“Caspian..are you blushing?!” I rushed out before jumping up and pouncing on him.
“No! It just got really warm in here!” He grumbled as I quickly wrapped my arms around his neck and peered around to look at his face.
“That made you shy didn’t it..my future husband.” I said once again as his cheeks became even redder.
“See! Right there!” I exclaimed as he suddenly threw me back on the bed and was now hovering above me again.
“I didn’t expect it to sound so cute when you said it okay!” He shouted, making me laugh as he quickly buried his face in the crook of my neck.
“But you told me to say it..” I grumbled.
“But hearing you say it made it that much more real..it just caught me off guard.” Caspian explained before biting my neck playfully and kissing the same spot right after, making me arch my back.
“Cas..are we really going to do this? You haven’t changed your mind have you?” I asked nervously, making him stop his assault on my throat as he slowly raised his head and peered down at me.
“We are going to do this..and nothing can change my mind when it comes to you..I’m pretty stubborn that way.” He whispered before smiling widely as I couldn’t help but return it.
I felt his large palms slide up my sides before he bent down, kissing me deeply. His words made me feel like I could cry…so much happiness filled me..more than I had ever felt before.
“So get dressed, today is our wedding day baby girl..I have to go talk to Milo and see if he will be our witness.” Caspian informed me as I nodded my head and bit my lip nervously.
“Should we tell Ben and Alder?” I asked feeling a twinge of guilt as Caspian reached down before tucking my hair behind my ear.
“Not yet..I don’t want anything to ruin this..I know it sucks but we will tell them everything after it’s official okay?” Caspian declared as I just nodded my head.
I couldn’t disagree..because I had a feeling my brother would try to come up with another option.
Caspian told me everything his dad said yesterday..about my mom and how they were together first..and then about Caspian marrying Heaven to further the company..it just made me want to marry Cas more..because how could two people who suffered through that very thing ask us to do the very same?
I am obviously grateful that Viva and Dave had Alder and Caspian..but I can see how my mom was upset with the whole thing…but going behind Viva’s back was just as wrong..
Dave never should’ve married her if he was going to cheat on her..and my poor dad..did he know?
“Come here, give me another kiss.” Caspian suddenly stated before pulling me into his lap and wrapping his arms around me.
“Everything is going to work out..but first..I just want to marry you..I want you to be mine and make it so no one can take you from me no matter what.” He breathed, his lips pressing to mine hastily as we kissed one another passionately.
All too soon, Caspian pulled away as I felt a piece of my heart going with him.
“Can I tell Anna?” I asked, making Caspian smile before nodding as I felt a little more relieved..at least I could tell her..because truthfully if I didn’t..I think she just might kill me.
“Okay, get dressed and I will meet you downstairs okay? I just have to get your birth certificate first, I think my dad keeps all our traveling stuff in his office.” Caspian explained as I went to stand.
Of course he pulled me into his arms a few seconds later before kissing me once again..and this time when he pulled back..I saw a look in his eyes that took my breath away.
“I can’t wait until you’ll be all mine Mrs. King.”
I can’t wait either…now we just have to play it cool until Caspian gets everything we need. That shouldn’t be too hard..right?

I took a bite of my omelet, my head falling forward as I tried my hardest not to look at anyone.
I am a horrible liar..and I rarely keep a secret..I mean..unless it’s super important and then I just tell Anna.
Speaking of..my ear is still ringing from the scream she did over the phone.
She was shocked, that’s for sure..what she said still makes me blush..oh god..I don’t know if I can even repeat it.
“I knew that snatch would be pure fucking magic..Caspian had one taste and you locked him in for life.”
I couldn’t help but burst into laughter when she said this.
