“Okay.” Ryan smiled softly and closed the door for Niamh.
He went to the study, put on his black-rimmed glasses, and sat down at the desk.
His initial elegant and handsome face instantly turned fierce and domineering.
He turned on the webcam and connected to the video call. A voice reported from the other end, “The poison in Kendrick’s body has entered the third phase. He may not have much time left. He asked that the task be performed as soon as possible. We’ll wait for your further instructions.”
Ryan listened calmly and looked at the falling rain outside the window.

When Kendrick saw that she was thinking about it, he continued, “This is the fastest and safest way to launder the money. Don’t you want to prove your ability to Yorick? This will be the best opportunity for it.
“As long as you leave the accounts of Stygian Johnson Gang to me, I promise that I’ll launder the money for you in the shortest possible time.”
Lana heard him but seemed to be hesitating.
