Armand didn’t seem to understand what was going on yet.
However, nobody replied to him. Cormac headed to his desk and glanced at Armand, “Aren’t you leaving?”
Armand wanted to stay here and do nothing?
“My sweetheart is at your house. Where should I go? Your house?” Armand approached the desk and stared at Cormac, “Tell me the truth.”
Cormac flipped open the document Abbot put on his desk. He asked without raising his head, “What truth?”
“How did you get Loredana to forgive you?” Armand blinked his eyes. He had done everything he can for Theresa, but she didn’t seem to be forgiving him any time soon. Not even a single sign of forgiveness.
All Armand wanted was to get his wife back. Why was it so difficult?
It was more difficult than going to space.
Cormac was distracted from the documents in front of him. He raised his head and looked at Armand, “Show her your charisma.”
Armand was speechless.
What was his charisma?
Armand approached Cormac with a thick face, “Teach me how.”
“You’re stupid,” Cormac insulted Armand without hesitation.
Armand went speechless again.
Armand stood up straight and chuckled, “Don’t think I didn’t know that you didn’t get Loredana to forgive you after several attempts of trying.” Cormac glared at Armand coldly, “Then why do you bother to ask me?”
Armand choked on his words. After a long pause, Armand laughed and said, “I was panic. Help me, please? At least give me an idea.” Cormac said, “I’ve no time.”
Cormac made Armand speechless again.
“I’ll go to Loredana if you don’t help me. I’ll ask her to help me out,” Then, Armand headed to the entrance.
Armand didn’t really want to bother Loredana. He knew Cormac too well. He said that just to trigger Cormac.
Cormac loved Loredana too much.
He wouldn’t allow Armand to bother Loredana.
Armand purposely slowed down the speed he turned the doorknob.
“Wait up!”
Cormac stopped Armand before he stepped out of the room.
Armand put up a straight face. He turned around and asked, “What?”
Cormac pressed on his temple. He didn’t really have any courting experience. As for Loredana, he forced her at first, then slowly accepted her. It was a process.
Just like the need for time in any relationship. There wasn’t anything like love-at-first-sight. Instead, people saw the good or bad in another person, then slowly got attracted. Cormac knew exactly what Armand was thinking.
But he didn’t call him out. Armand was going to hang out with him as long as he didn’t get Theresa back.
It was not a good thing. It wasn’t good either for Theresa to keep Armand waiting.
“Tell me, what do you want me to do?”
Armand laughed and walked closer. He leaned on Cormac’s desk and got really close to Cormac.
Cormac backed off, “Stay away from me.”
What was the need of getting so close to him?
Armand frowned and thought, “Who wants to get close to you? I didn’t like men.”
“Get Loredana to get Theresa out of the house. It’s too crowded. I can’t even tell Theresa what I wanted to tell her. I want to see her outside,” said Armand.
Cormac stared at him. He didn’t promise Armand right away as he was thinking if it could work and if it could get Loredana involved.
Theresa might blame Loredana if Armand did anything overaggressive.
That wasn’t what Cormac wanted to see.
“Let me make a call.”
Armand quickly stopped Cormac before he dialled numbers, “Would Theresa come out if you tell them now?”
“You’re wimpy,” Cormac shook off Armand’s hand, “How would I get them out if I don’t call them?”
Armand didn’t say anything. He lowered his hand.
Cormac gave Loredana a call.
But Cormac told Armand earlier that if Loredana didn’t want to do so, he wouldn’t force her.
It was important not to offend Loredana.
Armand curled his lips and thought, “Gals before Pals.”
Armand only dared to secretly think about it. He didn’t dare to say it out loud.
Armand was afraid that Cormac wouldn’t help him.
Loredana was discussing the design of an order with Theresa. It was a Chinese wedding gown. They were asked to use the mandarin ducks as a theme of the gown.
The symbol of mandarin ducks was great, but they needed to put on their thinking hats and see how to put it in the gown. The mandarin ducks must blend into the design of the gown, and also brought out the symbolism of it in the design.
Theresa was thinking of a two-piece gown with a coat.
Loredana was searching for pictures of mandarin ducks, and deciding which of them suited to be embroidered onto the gown.
Loredana’s phone was put aside, and it rang. Loredana picked up without looking at the caller ID, “Hello.”
“Is it convenient for you to talk now?”
It was Cormac. He went out not long ago. Why was he calling now? Loredana looked at the screen of her phone and confirmed it was Cormac’s number. She put the phone up to her ear, “Yes.” Theresa was near to Loredana. She could hear Cormac’s voice from the phone. She leaned over to another side of Loredana’ ear and whispered, “Cormac wanted to have a private conversation?” Loredana pushed Theresa away lightly.
Theresa wanted to make fun of Loredana. She put her arms around Loredana’ shoulder and tried to listen to what Cormac said to Loredana. But of course, Theresa wouldn’t listen to what she wasn’t supposed to. Theresa was teasing Loredana at first, but then she heard Cormac said, “Armand’s with me.”
