She feigned distraction, turning back toward him as she took her seat. She adjusted her dress subtly, making her curves more pronounced. “How has work been?”
“Cut to the chase. I know you’re not here just to ask me how work has been,” he said, his tone direct.
She chuckled. “You’re so smart,” she complimented, blushing slightly. “I was visiting a friend nearby and happened to pass by your company on my way back, so I thought I’d stop by and say hello.”
“That’s very kind of you, and I appreciate it.”
“It’s nothing,” she replied, gently licking her lips.
“I’m grateful for the hello, but I really must get back to work,” he said, reaching for his phone to call Clinton about the file he had forgotten at home.
Alice interrupted. “Oh dear, your tie is loose,” she said, standing up. She stretched across the table to adjust his tie, offering a clearer view of her cleavage. Christian caught her hand halfway, stopping her.
“Thank you, but I prefer it this way,” he said, gently pushing her hand away.
“Oh, I thought it wasn’t properly done,” she said, taking her seat again. He made to dial the number, but before he could, he noticed her stand up, thinking she was about to leave. Instead, he heard the sound of her heels clicking as she approached him.
He looked up and saw her walking toward him seductively. She reached his side and lightly touched his wrist, but he quickly moved away. “What are you doing?”
“What do you mean, what am I doing?” she said in a low, sultry voice. “Can’t you see?”
Christian stared at her, confused.
“I’m into you, Christian,” she said, turning his chair to face her. She raised one leg and placed it on the edge of the chair, subtly exposing the color of her panties. She then slowly pulled down the shoulder of her dress, nearly exposing her breasts.
Christian scoffed and looked away, incredulity flashing in his eyes.
“Do you know how much I fantasized about you? How much I crave your touch all over my body? The feeling of your lips, the sensation of you deep inside of me s
he said, licking her lips, groping her body, putting her hand inside her thigh, gently sliding her finger inside her vagina and moaning.
Clarisse finally arrived at the company, she let out a long breath and got out of the car, her heart racing and her palms sweating. The more she looked at the huge company and the cloudy sky, the more the negative feelings persisted.
She had a strong bad feeling and her breath was shaking, ‘Today is not going to be good.
Do you know how much I have fantasised about you, how much I want your touch all over my body, the feel of your tongue and the feel of you deep inside me,” she said licking her lips, groping her body and putting her hand inside her thigh, gently inserting her finger into her vagina and moaning.
Clarisse finally arrived at the company, she let out a long breath and got out of the car, her heart racing and her palms sweating. The more she looked at the huge company and the cloudy sky, the more the negative feelings persisted.
She had a strong bad feeling and her breath was shaking, ‘today is not going to be good’ She stepped away from the car and after taking a long breath she entered the building, confused where to go as she saw different people walking up and down, she decided to approach a woman at the reception.
“Good morning ma’am,” she greeted politely, “Good morning ma’am,” the receptionist replied with a smile, “You must be Mrs Lush,” “Huh?”, “Yes ma’am, go to the left and take the lift to the top floor, that’s Mr Christian’s office,” she informed politely, thinking Clarisse was the woman Karine had told her was coming to pick up a file.
“Oh! Okay,” Clarisse, confused, took the pass from her and walked in the direction she showed her. Her heart continued to beat fast as she stood in the lift, clutching the file to her chest, and it almost stopped when the lift stopped and opened. She took a deep breath and exhaled before stepping out. Alice moaned softly as she fingered herself in front of Christian. She knew he was already aroused and couldn’t wait for him to grab her and turn her over on his office desk and pound her as hard as he could, even the thought of it made her even more horny.
“Is this how you seduced your ex-husband? Victor?”.
The question caught her off guard and she opened her eyes, “Huh?” “That must be it, but he must be a cheap trash to fall for that disgusting sight,” Alice’s hand weakened as she looked at him in surprise. He pushed her leg off his chair and groaned,
“Do you lack courtesy? Your leg on the chair… wait! Have you ever worked in a brothel before?”
“What?!” Alice felt as though she had been slapped across the face by his humiliating question.
He stood up and stepped away from her. “I guess it didn’t work out for you, and I understand. I mean, which brothel would thrive with a lady like you running it?”
“Hey,” she stopped him, feeling deeply insulted as she glared at him in disbelief. “You can’t insult me like…”
“Why?” he asked innocently. “Why can’t I insult a cheap woman who seduced her sister’s ex-husband? I can’t even say you seduced me because there’s nothing about you or this trash you did that could ever be considered seductive.”
Alice’s shoulders slumped as her lips parted, her breath heavy with anger and humiliation. Her eyes filled with tears as she struggled to believe what was happening.
“Are you saying you have no feelings for me? You don’t like me at all? How could you prefer my sister over me? She is nothing, she has nothing, she’s dirty, uneducated, sluggish, and…”
“She’s better,” he cut her off. “She’s far better than what I’m looking at right now. She has morals, intelligence, talent, beauty, she’s amazing, decent, unique, and, above all, she would never seduce someone’s husband. That’s what makes her incomparable. She’s nothing like you.”
Alice chuckled in disbelief and glared back at him. “She was pregnant. Her womb can’t carry a baby anymore. She aborted her pregnancy, and the doctor said she could never get pregnant again.”
Christian burst into laughter and clapped his hands. “Nice speech,” he said, looking relaxed after hearing the nonsense she had spouted. He tucked his hands into his pockets. “The first thing we do before getting married is get the partner’s medical results-mentally and physically, the background, the attributes of the person, and above all, their history. According to the results I have with me, her womb is intact. She had a miscarriage due to trauma, as the results show. I don’t need to tell you the rest, but I’m amazed,” he said, looking at her closely. “At the lengths you’re willing to go to just to prove you’re not even worth a second of my time.”
Alice blinked, wishing she could hide her face. She had been foolish to think that a wealthy family like his wouldn’t have done such thorough research. She lied in an attempt to tarnish Clarisse’s image, but in doing so, she had only added fuel to the fire.
“What can I do? What can I do to have you?”
“You can never, not even in the next life.”
“That’s not true. I’m going to have you, in this lifetime,” she said, her voice filled with pain from the humiliation, and as a threat.
“Eww, that’ll be the most disgusting thing that could ever happen to me. How could I be with something cheaper than a rubber band?”
“What… what?!” she exclaimed, biting her lips bitterly. She hurriedly grabbed her purse and ran out, crying. Her heart tightened with pain as she ran, feeling as though it were being stabbed countless times by needles.
A few seconds later, Karine walked in, smiling. “Thank you, sir, I’ve received it.”
“Received what?”
“The files.”
“What files?”
“Mrs. Lush’s files. A lady gave them to me just now.”
“A lady? What did she say her name was?”
“She said she’s Ari.”
“Ari?” He jumped to his feet immediately. “When was that?”
“Just now.”
Without letting her say anything else, he ran out. It was raining by the time he reached the reception, and knowing about her trauma with rain, his worry grew. He asked the receptionist if she had seen a woman named Ari.
“No, sir. No woman with that name has come here.”
“Are you sure?” he asked again, describing her features.
“Oh, that woman. She was here earlier, but she just left.”
Without listening to anything else, he ran out, searching for her frantically until he found her, hiding in an alcove, shivering. He quickly pulled her into his warmth, hugging her and patting her shoulder.
“It’s okay, Ari, I’m here, it’s okay,” he said repeatedly, rubbing her back.
She pulled back gently and looked up at him. Their eyes locked, different emotions welling up between them, and neither could look away. It was as if he was staring into her soul with his beautiful grey eyes, while her blue ocean eyes sparkled with tears, giving her gaze the perfect image of a beautiful, teary ocean.
“Christian,” she called out softly.
“Why?” he asked, not looking away.
Confused by what she meant by “why,” he couldn’t reply.
The tension between them grew as his gaze fell on her inviting lips. He couldn’t stare at her any longer; the temptation to kiss her was overwhelming. He pulled her back into his arms and whispered,
“You shouldn’t be out here in the cold.”
“Shhh,” he stopped her from speaking. “Let’s go inside before you catch a cold.”
